In March 2024, the Jiao Yang research group warmly welcomed five new members: undergraduates Huang Xiangyu, Lin Longxiang, Liu Xizheng, Tang Bosi, and Wang Duqing.

Huang Xiangyu was born in Chongqing City and graduated from Chongqing No. 1 Middle School. In 2022, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University through a chemistry competition. His research interest is in the design of novel metal complex catalysts based on supramolecular chemistry and their applications in radical chemistry.

Lin Longxiang is from Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, and graduated from Jingdezhen No. 1 High School. In 2022, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University through the national college entrance examination. His research interest is in self-assembled asymmetric catalysts and chiral nanospirals.

Liu Xizheng was born in Dongying City, Shandong Province, and graduated from Guangrao County No. 1 Middle School. He won second prize in the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad final. In 2022, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University through the chemistry competition based on the Strong Foundation Plan. His main research interest is in the development of stereoregulated polymerization reactions.

Tang Bosi was born in Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, and graduated from Chongqing No. 8 Middle School. In 2022, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University through the Strong Foundation Plan. His research interest is in supramolecular chemistry and novel polymers.

Wang Duqing is from Linyi City, Shandong Province, and graduated from Linyi No. 1 Middle School. In 2022, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University through the Strong Foundation Plan. His research interest is in boron radical chemistry and radical reactions regulated by non-covalent interactions.
