On November 18, 2023, a collaborative group meeting, co-organized by the Wei Cao research group of Beijing Normal University, along with the Zehuan Huang and Yang Jiao research groups from Peking University, was successfully convened in the storied Tongcheng Lecture Hall within the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University. Prior to the commencement of the meeting, attendees embarked on a scenic tour of the iconic Boya Tower and the tranquil Weiming Lake, capturing a memorable group photograph to celebrate the event.

The meeting was opened by Prof. Zehuan Huang, with a special invited lecture by Prof.  Qi Zhang from East China University of Science and Technology titled “Preliminary Exploration of Disulfide Dynamic Chiral Chemistry.” This was followed by an invited report by Prof. Wei Cao titled “Polymer Assemblies for the Combination of Chemoradiotherapy and Radiation Protection,” and finally, Prof. Yang Jiao gave the concluding remarks. The students in attendance were particularly engaged, contributing actively to discussions with insightful questions and constructive suggestions. To celebrate the fruitful exchange, the gathering concluded with a sumptuous feast of Xinjiang-style lamb, signifying the successful and enjoyable close of this collaborative group meeting!
