Weichen Wang was born in Huangshan, Anhui Province, China. He received his B.S. (2017) from Anhui Agricultural University, and his M.S. (2019) and Ph.D. (2024) from China Agricultural University. Then, he joined the College of Chemical and Molecular Engineering at Peking University for postdoctoral research, collaborating with Professor Sihai Yang. His research interests lie in developing metal-substituted zeolites and their catalytic conversion of biomass into valuable chemicals, and in understanding the intrinsic relationship between reaction performance and catalyst active site/structure by combining experimental and computational techniques.
