Research Interests

Coordination Chemistry and Organometallic Chemistry of Rare Earths and Actinides

Our research group focuses on studying the coordination and organometallic chemistry of f-block metals,

including rare earths and actinides. Main research interests include:

1. Chemistry of f-block elements in unusual oxidation states, including their synthesis, electronic structures, bonding interaction, and reactivity;

2. Redox chemistry of f-block metal complexes, with an emphasis on applications in small molecule activation and catalysis;

3. Design of molecular optic and magnetic materials of f-block metals;

4. Design of organometallic f-block metal precursors for MOCVD and ALD applications;

5. Novel strategy for highly efficient separation of rare earth elements and nuclear fuel cycle.
